Daybreak SoDa Row Music Concert Series 2019

Summer is around the corner and that means the Daybreak 2019 concert season is nearly upon us. Daybreak announced their SoDa Row Concert lineup this week and it seems like another good year for concerts goers.

As a reminder, the concerts kick off in June and run through the end of August. They are held on the green space in SoDa Row, on most Friday and Saturday evenings from 8 pm.

Just like previous years, the concerts feature a varied lineup with everything from Rock to Party Bands.

Listed below are the bands appearing in 2019 split by genres:

Rock Pop

Jake & The Heist June 8th - Salt Lake City band playing a bold blend of Pop, Funk, and R&B.

The Strike July 14th – The Strike is a Provo band who have appeared at SoDa Row several times. Their music is a mix of pop, funk, and rock and they specialize in live performances.

The Jets June 21st – Salt Lake based family band playing family-friendly pop. They have sold over 4 million records and have had 8 top ten hits.

Shrink the Giant June 22nd – Utah band founded in 2010 who have supported such bands as Image Dragons, Neon Trees, Awolnation and The Wombats.

The Motels July 12th – Formed in the 70’s The Motels have had 2 top 10 singles with ‘Only The Lonely’ and ‘Suddenly Last Summer”.

Ryan Shupe July 26th – Local rock/bluegrass band who have released 9 albums.

English Beat Aug 3rd – English mod band from the 80’s who have had 5 top 10 singles in the U.K. with such songs as Mirror in the Bathroom and Tears of a Clown.

Melodime Aug 9th - Virginia rock band

Joshy Soul and The Cool Aug 10th – Salt Lake band who perform 50's and 60's style R&B Soul music.

Tiffany Aug 31st – 80’s teen pop sensation who is best noted for the smash hit "I Think We're Alone Now".

Country

Chance McKinney July 20th - Montana artist who won the CMT Music City Madness competition for unsigned artists in 2009.

Party Bands

Changing Lanes July 19th – Party band that has performed throughout the U.S. and abroad.

No Limits Aug 16th – High octane party band performing all styles of music.
