Daybreak SoDa Row Music Concert Series 2018

Summer is nearly upon us and so is the 2018 SoDa Row Concert Series. For those that don’t know Daybreak put on a number of free outdoor concerts throughout the summer months. These concerts are held at SoDa Row at 8 pm most Friday and Saturday evenings from June 8th to September 1st.

This year features another great lineup, with something for everyone, everything from the rocking Eve 6 to countries Restless Heart.

Below I have tried to split the music by the genres, Rock / Pop, Country, Party Band, and Cover/Tribute.

Rock / Pop

The Ventures : June 22nd – Surf band that have been around since the 1950’s. They have sold more than 100 million records, with 14 hit singles and 38 albums.

The Strike : July 6th– The Strike are a local band who specialize in live performances.

Joshy Soul and The Cool :July 14th – Salt Lake band who perform 50’s and 60’s style R&B Soul music.

Eve 6 : July 20th – SoCal Pop Punk band who shot to success in the late 90’s with songs like Inside Out. After breaking up for a while they returned in 2012 with their 4th album Speak in Code

Foreign Figures : July 27th – Utah Alt Pop band.

Ryan Shupe : Aug 11th – Local rock / bluegrass band who have released 9 albums.

Berlin : Aug 18th – Synth Electric Pop band from L.A. best known for their chart topping ‘Take My Breath Away’ single featured in the movie Top Gun.

The Brevet : Aug 25th – Alt-rock SoCal band who have had their music featured on several TV shows such as 90210, NCIS, ESPN and American Idol and movies like The Good Lie and Ashby.

Country Music

Redhead Express  : June 8th – A group of 4 sisters who originate from Alaska.

Chance McKinney : June 15th – Montana artist who won the CMT Music City Madness competition for unsigned artists in 2009.

Jagertown : Aug 31st – Salt Lake based country band.

Restless Heart : Sep 1st – Nashville based country band who have featured no fewer than 6 number 1’s in the Hot Country Charts.

Party Bands

Changing Lanes : June 9th – Appeared on America’s Got Talent (AGT) in 2015.

No Limits : Aug 10th – High octane party band performing all styles of music.

Liquid Blue : Aug 17th – California party band who have performed in more than 100 countries.

Cover / Tribute Bands

Good Vibrations : June 16th – Beach Boys tribute band.

Imagine: Remembering the Fab Four : July 7th – Beatles tribute band.

Get Down Tonight : July 21st – Park City disco tribute band.

A Toast to Bread : Aug 3rd – Bread tribute band.

The Kings of 88 : Aug 4th – Cover band playing classic piano rock such as Billy Joel, Elton John, and Jerry Lee Lewis.

The Long Run : Aug 24th – Eagles tribute band.
