South Jordan is due to start building their new public safety building, station 64 in Daybreak. This 30,000 square-foot development will be multiuse incorporating not just fire station 64 but also a police substation, city administration space, and space for community meetings.
Groundbreaking for this development is due to take place on July 15th with completion expected for late 2020. It will be located in Daybreak at 5443 W Lake Avenue.
The location on the west side of South Jordan is aimed to improve response times for both fire and police responses and provide better service to those people in that area. Residents will be able to visit the building to obtain dog licenses and ask about their utility bills and get answers to other city-related questions.
